SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification is required along
with a strong knowledge of networking. Experience with Microsoft
2000/2003 server and Exchange 2000/2003 is a must.
Applicant must be motivated to think on their
feet under pressure, work with little supervision, interface
well with customers, be able to juggle multiple clients, and
be driven to learn quickly. Excellent verbal and written communication,
project planning/management and customer relationship skills
are needed.
These positions will support multiple clients in the San Francisco bay area with the majority in the East Bay.
The ideal candidates will have experience with the following:
Design, installation and ongoing maintenance of Microsoft based networks including: Windows 2000/2003 AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, RRAS, Terminal services Exchange 2000 and 2003 including support and disaster recovery Migration experience from Windows NT 4.0 and Exchange 5.5 Practical understanding of TCP/IP routing including DSL and T1 internet connections Strong desktop support skills with Windows 2000 and XP.
In addition, experience with the following is desirable:
- Microsoft WSUS
- Symantec Anti-virus
- Veritas backup
- Sonicwall and Cisco PIX firewalls
- Cisco routers
- Windows Sharepoint
- Microsoft SQL
- Citrix Metaframe
- Network switching and routing
- Network cabling design and installation
