Where is the best place to purchase new IT equipment?
Should you buy from Dell or HP? How about Fry's or Best Buy? What about the local clone builder? How much memory do you need? Should you get Windows XP Home or XP Professional? These are all good questions and can have significant cost impacts. At Lanlogic we are always looking for the lowest cost of ownership rather than the lowest cost. A cheap computer will quickly cost more than a more expensive one if any extra labor is involved.

At Lanlogic we will gladly give you the specification of the appropriate hardware for your use. If you like, we will procure it for you and then re-sell it at the same cost as you will find it at Dell or one of the major online retailers. The advantage is that you can be sure that you will be getting the correct equipment and software for you needs without paying a premium. It will actually save you money because we will not start the project until all of the equipment has been delivered to our office which eliminates any time spent keeping track of packages or trying to find out where someone placed it. If there is a problem with the order or shipping it is on us, not you.
